After I place an order, when can I expect it?
We batch-bake weekly. We accept your orders all week, but order cut-off is 12pm Sunday for pick-up/delivery Thursday. In other words, if you order on Saturday morning, we won’t be placing your yummy baked goods into the oven until over a week later.
Do you ship nationwide?
Not yet, but it's coming! We will be in delivering across the nation soon. Drop us your contact info here so you are the first to know.
How should I store my cookies and bars?
Our cookies and bars like cooler environments. They keep for up to 2 weeks stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and up to 3 months in the freezer. Just pull them out and let them come to room temp before you eat them. Although, we understand you can’t always wait for them to thaw. Eat ‘em frozen. No judgment from us.
How should I store my bagels?
Bagels are fine to have on the counter for about 24 hours after you received them. After that, store them, tightly covered, in the freezer. Refrain from putting them in the refrigerator because this dries them out. They will last up to 3 months in the freezer.
Do you use organic ingredients?
You bet! Our items are made with at least 80% organic ingredients. You will notice our almond flour is not organic, but it is non-GMO. We do our best to source organic, non-gmo, responsibly farmed ingredients.
Are your items safe for celiacs?
We use all of our own mixers, utensils, sheet pans, etc. and sanitize everything before we bake, but since we bake in a shared kitchen space, we cannot guarantee there's no cross-contamination. We are actively looking for a dedicated, gluten-free space and hope to be baking in one soon! Where is your bakery?
We bake your goodies in a licensed, commercial kitchen in Costa Mesa, CA. It’s not a storefront, so we can’t accept walk-in visitors at this time.
Can I buy your items anywhere other than your website?
Yes! Visit the find us page of the website to see where our items are sold. We are constantly in the process of adding new retailers. Please check back here or our social channels for the latest updates. And if you have any suggestions where we should be selling our goodies, we are here for it! Just send us a message.
What’s with the name “Bell Bottom Bakery”?
Ah, where to begin? Our founder, Andrea, was born in 1970 and loves everything about that era - the music (Grateful Dead and Rolling Stones are always spinning in the bakery), the fashion (she never stopped wearing bell bottoms), and the grade school bake sales (brownies taste best in a grade school gym). Drawing on that nostalgia, she set out to reimagine her favorite, classic treats by updating them to fit her dietary needs while incorporating the highest quality, better-for-you ingredients she could find. "Bell Bottom Bakery" rolled off her tongue one day and it felt perfect to her, and here we are.
